Officials have decided to close all Isle of Wight schools today due to icy road conditions throughout the county.

School officials had announced earlier in the morning the schools would open after a two-hour delay, but ultimately decided to close after road conditions did not improve.

Those having the day off are all students and 10-month employees. All 12-month employees are still asked to report.
