Suffolk Public Schools, Isle of Wight Schools and Nansemond Suffolk Academy each closed school Wednesday, the result of poor road conditions following significant snow Tuesday and early Wednesday.

Earlier this afternoon, Suffolk Public Schools officials announced Wednesday’s snow day will be made up Saturday, March 6. Saturday will be a regular, full-day schedule although individual schools will announce any specific changes in planned activities.

Isle of Wight Schools nor NSA have announced any make up plans for their missed day.
