Godwin Boulevard currently is closed in both directions as police investigate a traffic accident.

The crash, which involved a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle, occurred about 6:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of Godwin Boulevard, according to Suffolk spokeswoman Debbie George. The rider of the motorcycle is unresponsive, and is being airlifted to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
