Suffolk Police continue to investigate a one-car accident that closed East Washington Street for part of Thursday morning.
According to an accident report, a 1994 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Brenda Holland Hall, 52, was traveling eastbound on East Washington Street when the vehicle ran off the roadway to the right in the 2300 block, struck a ditch and went airborne.
The vehicle came to rest on its side after rolling once, city spokeswoman Debbie George said.
The driver was airlifted to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where she was treated and released.
Speed did not appear to be a factor in the crash, George said. It still is under investigation.
