An 81-year-old Suffolk man was abducted in his car from the Happy Shopper at 600 E. Washington Street on Tuesday.
Police said Wednesday that the victim was putting air into his tires at 10:18 p.m. and got back into his car to find two black males, ages 18 to 20 in the back seat of the vehicle. He later described one of the males as light-skinned and one as dark-skinned.
One of the subjects held something to the back of the man’s head, implying that it was a weapon, and forced the man to drive to the White Marsh Road area, according to Suffolk spokesperson Diana L. Klink. The subjects got out of the car and fled on foot once he got to White Marsh, she said.
