Holy Neck Christian Church recently visited Planet Zoom for its vacation Bible school.

A total of 112 students, youth leaders and adult leaders grew in their faith as they participated in the bee-themed vacation Bible school.

The week’s theme verse was Ephesians 5:1-2 — “Be imitations of God, as beloved children, and walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us.”

Five Bible stories presented throughout the week focused on Jesus’ ministry to his children. One bee-centric story focused on how scout bees seek out flowers and then tell other bees where to find them, just as Christians seek Jesus and tell others how to find Him.

Other activities included a real beehive exhibit and a cookout. Offerings collected during the week were sent to support organizations for the Dominican Republic.
