Ebenezer United Methodist Church once again is hosting their annual yard sale. All proceeds will benefit local and international mission projects.
This year, individuals, crafters and vendors are invited to sell their goods by renting space.
The market will take place on Saturday, April 30 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, both inside the Family Life Center and outside — rain or shine, no refunds. A space inside measures 10 feet by 8 feet and includes one table and a chair for $25; or double that space and add another table for $40. Outside spaces measure 12 feet by 14 feet and are $35 for a table and chair; or double that space and add a table for $45. Additional chairs are $5 each. Set up begins at 7 a.m. Any items not sold by 2 p.m. are the responsibility of the owners to remove immediately after the sale.
Items for sale should be appropriate for children and church members to view. The Missions Team will host a bake sale and Big Al’s Kitchen will be open selling coffee, breakfast and lunch items during the market.
Call the church office at 238-2359 to reserve your space by April 15; checks made payable to EUMC with “Yard Market” written in the notes section should be sent to 1589 Steeple Drive, Suffolk, VA 23433 after confirming your reservation with Angela Wilson at mrswilson45@hotmail.com. Checks should arrive no later than April 15. Late inquiries are welcomed should space still be available.
Ebenezer is asking that anyone attending the yard sale and market bring new or gently used, appropriate book donations that will go to local literacy projects. To learn more about Ebenezer UMC, visit www.ebumc.net, where you can also download a reservation form.
