NSA lacrosse wins close match

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ lacrosse team squeaked out a win at home on Friday over Mt. Anthony, besting the visiting team, 15-14.

Saints scoring goals were Julia Rapoport with two, Jessie Lerner with five, Sarah Simms with four, and Alex Mathews, Joelle Pond, Grace Hadad and Sarah Higinbotham with one apiece.

Sarah Higinbotham also had one assist.

NSA goalie Tori Lauder had seven saves, and goalie Sarah Alnaif had one save.
