Joey Hardison, of Servpro of Suffolk/Smithfield/Franklin, joined a record number of fellow Servpro franchise owners at Servpro’s 43rd annual national convention in Orlando recently.

Servpro is an industry leader in disaster cleanup, restoration and remediation services.

The keynote speaker at this year’s convention was Nido Qubein, founder and chairman emeritus of the National Speakers Association Foundation.  In addition to the keynote address, those attending could select from more than 50 workshop sessions led by leaders in the insurance industry, who provided updates on topics ranging from developing industry trends to marketing local communities.

“Each year, I come away from our convention energized with knowledge about our own company’s initiatives and industry trends as well,” said Hardison. “This is time well spent for me and my business and will benefit my community when residents need our services.”

“Servpro continues to lead and innovate in the marketplace,” said Sue Steen, chief executive officer of Servpro Industries Inc., “and we recognize that our franchisees are the driving force behind our success. We are proud of their professionalism, and we are confident Joey and all of our attendees returned home from this year’s national convention with ideas and inspiration to continue to grow their businesses.”
