Lake Prince Woods has announced a new partnership with Sodexo to provide dining services for the retirement community. Sodexo is a worldwide company with vast experience in the food service industry, including over 400 senior living communities in the United States.
“We are excited about our partnership with Sodexo,” said Judy Raymond, executive director of Lake Prince Woods. “We want to refocus our dining management to emphasize a culinary and customer service culture offering a dining experience at Lake Prince Woods to be one that delights our residents and guests.”
“The residents at Lake Prince Woods have been very welcoming to us,” noted Andrew Warren, Sodexo Area General Manager. “We’ve met with their dining committee and have had good exchange of ideas. We’re looking forward to doing some new, creative menus.”
There are at least three immediate changes that residents can expect in their dining experiences. First, 60 percent of all produce will be fresh and sourced locally, LPW stated. Second, new menu items for the dining rooms and deli will include healthy eating selections. And third, enhanced culinary selections will complement special events.
Sodexo was founded in 1966 and has more than 391,000 employees working to improve the quality of daily life of those being served.
Delivering exceptional culinary creations, nutritional expertise, courteous ambiance and pampered services have become the hallmark of the Sodexo brand, LPW officials stated in a press release.
Lake Prince Woods is located among 172 wooded acres bordering Lake Prince. As a nonprofit continuing care retirement community, Lake Prince Woods offers residential living, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing care.
