Elizabeth Clark has been appointed as admissions coordinator at Lake Prince Woods retirement community in Suffolk.

As admissions coordinator, she will facilitate admissions to Lake Prince Woods’ assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care units working closely with doctors offices and discharge planners. She will also be part of the Lake Prince Woods Speakers Bureau, which provides programs on a variety of health and senior-related topics to civic and church groups.

Judy Raymond, left, executive director of Lake Prince Woods retirement community, gives an overview of the continuing care retirement community to new admissions coordinator Elizabeth Clark.

“People in the community may not be aware our Medicare-certified healthcare center offers both short-term rehab as well as long-term living for residents,” Executive Director Judy Raymond said. “Our residential assisted living area offers support and medical assistance to those who need it to maintain independence. We’re looking forward to having Liz work with doctors, discharge planners, and families to better acquaint them with what Lake Prince Woods can provide.”

“I have been in many long-term care facilities through the years, and Lake Prince Woods is one of the most welcoming and warm places I’ve been in,” Clark said. “The staff and residents have both been very friendly, which is indicative of good care being given.”

With more than 20 years experience in long term care administration, Clark has worked in many facets of operations including finance, business office management and corporate consulting.

A native of Maryland, Clark recently moved to the area from Houston, Texas. She is a graduate of Tidewater Business Institute.
