Deep Creek stings Cavaliers

Senior guard Samson Worrell led Lakeland with 16 points.

The Cavaliers (7-9, 4-7) will play at Nansemond River (13-2, 10-1) tonight and head to Great Bridge on Friday.

Lady Cavs lose close game to Deep Creek

The Lakeland Lady Cavaliers narrowly fell to host Deep Creek, 37-33, on Tuesday night.

The Lady Cavs were led by junior guard Kyiesha Barrett with 10 points.

Lakeland will host Nansemond River tonight and Great Bridge tomorrow night.

Nansemond-Suffolk falls to Norfolk Academy

Nansemond-Suffolk Academy was blown out Tuesday by host Norfolk Academy, 76-19.
