To celebrate its expansion last year into new quarters at 1214 Portsmouth Blvd., Suffolk Auto Exchange will hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. today.

The event, which will feature door prizes, games and refreshments, is open to the public.

Brothers Kouros and Shahin Hamraz started the auto sales, repairs and body shop business with just a few employees and a small building. Due to growing demand, they opened a second location to service more customers. In 2012, they centralized all the operations and expanded into the new Portsmouth Boulevard location, where they provide a state-of-the-art, full body and mechanic shop, financing company and a new and used car dealership.

The company has grown to encompass 15 employees.
