Lake Prince Woods Retirement Community has a limited number of positions available in its summer Junior Volunteer Program, which will be from July 8 through Aug. 16, according to spokesperson Susan Stone.

Students ages 14-18 are eligible to participate and will work in the assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care units of the facility.

Summer volunteers must commit to work at least 20 hours during the six-week period, and the work day is between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The orientation session will be held June 25, from 10 a.m. to noon.
