Navy Seaman Apprentice Kristopher M. Jordan, son of Renee and Alvin E. Jordan of Suffolk, recently reported for duty aboard the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, home ported in Norfolk.

Jordan is a 2009 graduate of Nansemond River High School and joined the Navy in September 2012.
