TowneBank promotes four employees

TowneBank and TowneBank Mortgage have announced four promotions within the companies’ Suffolk offices.

At TowneBank, Kevin L. Fly, Jaime Michelle Landon and Gretchen D. Neild have been advanced.

Fly was promoted to the position of executive vice president. He is an accounting officer responsible for financial and tax reporting and policy and control processes and is based at the Member Service Center in Suffolk.

Fly has more than 18 years of banking and accounting experience. He has been a member of the Towne family for six years and is a graduate of Christopher Newport University and the Apprentice School in Newport News.

Fly is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants, Tidewater Chapter. He volunteers as a football coach for the Peninsula Youth Football and Cheerleading Organization and as a wrestling coach for the Peninsula Youth Wrestling League.

Landon was promoted to the position of vice president and accounting manager. She is based at the Member Service Center in Suffolk.

Landon has nine years of banking and accounting experience. She is a graduate of Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in business and a double major in accounting and finance.

Active in the community, Landon volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and is a member of the Young Leaders Society of United Way.

Neild was promoted to the position of assistant vice president. She is an accounting officer responsible for cash management and treasury and is based at the Member Service Center in Suffolk.

Neild has nine years of banking and accounting experience. She is a graduate of Paul D. Camp Community College and Christopher Newport University.

Within the community, Neild serves as the children’s ministries coordinator and co-chairperson on the finance committee at Magnolia United Methodist Church in Suffolk.

TowneBank Mortgage, an affiliate of TowneBank, has announced the promotion of Kristen Dellinger to the position of vice president.

She is a mortgage loan officer at the Harbour View Financial Center.

Dellinger has been in the mortgage industry for more than seven years. She is a member of the Tidewater Mortgage Bankers Association and the Tidewater Builders Association.

Dellinger is a member of the Portsmouth YMCA Advisory Board. She also enjoys volunteering for Toys for Tots, Girls on the Run and Portsmouth Volunteers for the Homeless.

Dellinger attended Christopher Newport University and Old Dominion University and is a graduate of the Van Lefcoe Leadership Development program.
