Grassfield High School’s golf team defeated King’s Fork High School 314-421 on Wednesday at Nansemond River Golf Club.

Garret Swanger of the Grizzlies was the medalist, shooting an 18-hole round of 72 on the par-72 course.

Top scorers for the Bulldogs were junior William Crow with an 86 and senior Griffen Saylor with an 88.

King’s Fork (0-5) will play Great Bridge High School on Monday at Bide-A-Wee Golf Course in Portsmouth.
