Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System has welcomed internist Paa-Kofi Obeng to Nansemond Suffolk Family Practice, a Bon Secours Virginia Medical Group primary care practice.

Dr. Obeng completed both his Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health degrees at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio.

He went on to complete his internal medicine residency at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren, Ohio.

Dr. Obeng is professionally affiliated with the American College of Physicians and American Osteopathic Association. He has participated in several medical presentations and received multiple awards, including the American Osteopathic Foundation Welch Scholar Award.

Dr. Obeng provides a full spectrum of health care services for adults with an emphasis on preventive care.
