Suffolk police are investigating a report of an armed robbery that took place early Friday morning.

Two victims reported they were walking home in the 1000 block of White Marsh Road, near Davis Boulevard, between 1 and 2 a.m.

They said a dark-colored truck pulled up, and an unknown subject pointed a gun at them and demanded their personal possessions, city spokesman Tim Kelley said.

The victims were told to run away after placing the items on the ground, Kelley said.

Anyone who has information is asked to call Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers to Crime Line never have to give their names or appear in court, and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
