Tidewater Community College will host an information session for those interested in starting their own business on April 7 at 3:30 p.m. at its Center for Workforce Solutions in Suffolk.

The session, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by Launch Hampton Roads, Opportunity Inc.’s grant to provide entrepreneurship training under the U.S. Department of Labor’s Workforce Innovation Fund.

Classes will begin April 28. Free training and support in areas including business planning, sales and marketing, accounting, website and social media development, and finance and credit will be offered.
