The Congressional Modeling & Simulation Caucus and the National Training and Simulation Association will host the ninth annual M&S Exhibition on Capitol Hill from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 10.
The expo draws exhibitors from diverse industries to showcase modeling and simulation applications to lawmakers in an effort to promote the development of these high-tech tools in a growing number of fields and specialties.
“Critical to both expanding America’s economy and enhancing national security, modeling and simulation technology continues to push our country forward,” said Congressman J. Randy Forbes, chairman of the caucus. “The important role that M&S plays as a catalyst for growth in the United States’ innovation economy will only grow in the years to come.”
The expo will be held in the Rayburn Foyer.
Demonstrations will allow participants to control city-wide emergency responses during a natural disaster; perform virtual surgery using state-of-the-art robotics; role-play in an immersive virtual environment; and experience other innovative uses of simulation technology.
