Arrowhead Environmental Services of Windsor was one of three specialty contractors recently recognized for safety in 2014 by the Virginia Contractors Group Self Insurance Association.

VACO has been in existence since June 1982 and provides workers compensation coverage, claims and safety services to more than 160 contractor members.

Each year VACO recognizes those members with the best overall safety program in the group. The safety review team uses a formula that compares claim history and the experience modifier with actual management activity and involvement.

Arrowhead earned the Silver Award for outstanding performance in safety. The award was presented at VACO’s fall meeting.

Arrowhead was also recognized by VACO in 2013, when the company received the Gordon Award for significant achievement in safety.
