Admiral Philip Davidson, commander of U.S. Fleet Forces Command, will make his first regional address during an inaugural speech for the new Chamber Leadership Series on Feb. 26 at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott.

During an audience-driven dialogue, Davidson is expected to educate members on what lies ahead for the U.S. Navy around the globe and how the Navy’s mission will impact the Hampton Roads region.

This will be Davidson’s first speech to the Hampton Roads business community and the Hampton Roads’ Chamber of Commerce’s kickoff event for the new Leadership Series.

The series of addresses will give area business leaders an opportunity to have personal access to important leaders, who will provide practical knowledge and share what helped them rise to the top of their fields.

Speakers will include leaders from business, industry and the government.

More than 300 people are expected to attend the inaugural event, which begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott, located at 235 E. Main St. in Norfolk.
