Following are this week’s nominees for the Duke Automotive-Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Notorious Brown, junior for King’s Fork High School wrestling: He was the lone Bulldog winner in the Ironclad Conference wrestling championships held on Feb. 7 at Phoebus High School. He became a champion by successfully navigating the 182-pound weight class.
• Logan Eubanks, junior for Nansemond River High School swimming: He repeated as the Region 4A South champion in the boys’ 100-yard backstroke on Monday. He finished the event with a time of 55.09 seconds, showing growth since his performance last year when he won with a time of 56.34 seconds.
• Daquan Boyette, junior for Lakeland High School basketball: He came off the bench in Friday’s opening round of the Ironclad Conference tournament, producing an offensive performance to stand among the best in school history. His career-high 40 points contributed to a 74-69 overtime win against Denbigh High School.
