The Crossings announces staff hired

The Crossings at Harbour View, a senior living community scheduled to open in the summer of 2015, has announced the hiring of three important staff members.
Mandi Creech has been named health care coordinator. She will be responsible for coordinating the community’s front line health care personnel and procedures and assuring the wellness and health needs of the residents.
A registered nurse with 18 years of experience as both a licensed practical nurse and registered nurse, Creech has experience in long term care, neurology and urgent care. She is a graduate of Southampton Memorial School of Practical Nursing and Paul D. Camp Community College.
Tim Paul has been named dining services director. A California native and 22-year veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, Paul comes to Harmony Senior Services after serving as an instructor at the Coast Guard Culinary School in Petaluma, Calif., and locally as an Admirals Chef in Portsmouth, preparing meals and banquets for high-ranking military, civilian and foreign dignitaries.
Paul will supervise all aspects of food service for The Crossings, from staff to menu design.
Angie Woodard has been named director of maintenance. She will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the physical structures and utility systems of the community and grounds as well as for safety and emergency management planning.
With more than three decades of experience in facility maintenance as a technician and supervisor, Woodard has worked in commercial, institutional and residential facilities. She came to Virginia in 1995, with local experience including service at The Heritage Store Inc. and Portsmouth Naval Hospital.
The Crossings at Harbour View is located at 5871 Harbour View Boulevard in Suffolk. Managed by Harmony Senior Services, it will include 90 independent living, 63 assisted living and 21 memory care apartments.
