Dr. Priyanka Patel has been appointed medical director at The Crossings at Harbour View, a new senior living community in Suffolk.

Patel, a board certified internist and geriatrician, is affiliated with Long Term Care of Virginia. She will be available to serve as a primary physician for residents and as a consultant to support The Crossings and its residents’ medical needs.

After earning her medical degree from Gujarat
University/B.J. Medical College in India, Dr. Patel
completed a residency in internal medicine at the
Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune,
N.J., and a fellowship in geriatric medicine from
VCU medical center in Richmond. She is
certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine
and the American Board of Internal Medicine-Geriatric Medicine.

The Crossings at Harbour View is located at 5871 Harbour View Blvd. in Suffolk and will include 90 independent living, 63 assisted living, and 21 memory care apartments.
