Guillermo Angulo has joined the sales team of Grandwatt Electric Corp. to further the company’s growing portfolio of international accounts.
Angulo comes to Grandwatt with a wealth of experience within the Latin American Industrial markets, having spent the last five years as the Latin America sales manager for Intermetals Co. of Houston, where he was instrumental in developing new business opportunities while retaining the existing clientele.
“I am excited to start a new challenge with Grandwatt and look forward to working with the team and furthering their already extensive product offering and exceptional customer service,” Angulo stated in a press release.
“Guillermo’s wealth of experience and in-country knowledge has already made him a key addition to the Grandwatt family,” Grandwatt International Sales Manager Patrick Everett said. “We view his appointment as a sign of our commitment to being a leader in the Latin American power generation and portable lighting industries. Our new innovations and the increasing demand from our customers led us to look for an addition to our team who will fit into our attitude of innovation and exceptional customer service, and it’s very fortunate that we were able to find someone of Guillermo’s caliber to fulfill this role.”
Grandwatt is global provider of diesel generators for prime and standby applications, along with mobile light towers for the construction and mining industries. The company’s Suffolk facility, located in the Obici Industrial Park, opened in 2012.
