Jennifer Steele has been promoted to assistant vice president at TowneBank. She works in the accounting department focusing on tax and financial reporting at the bank’s headquarters in Suffolk.

Steele has been with TowneBank for six years and has 13 years of industry experience. She received her undergraduate degree from State University of New York at Potsdam and her Masters of Science in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Steele is a volunteer organizer with the VA of Hampton and also volunteers her time with Toys for Tots, among other organizations that support veterans, military and their families.
