Police investigate armed robbery

Suffolk police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred shortly before 1 a.m. Sunday at the 7-Eleven in Chuckatuck.
Emergency Dispatchers were notified of the incident at 12:47 a.m., according to a city press release. The offenders, both black males, entered the store brandishing firearms and demanding money. The subjects fled on foot after receiving an undetermined amount of cash. No injuries were reported in the incident.
The subjects were further described as one approximately 5 feet, 9 inches to 6 feet tall with a larger build wearing a black jacket and a black and white bandanna. The second subject was shorter than the first subject, light-skinned, with a slender build wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood cinched around his face.
