The Commercial Alliance, a council within the Hampton Roads Realtors Association, will offer the course “Discovering Commercial Real Estate,” providing a broad overview of commercial real estate and how it differs from the industry’s residential side.

The class will be taught by Terry Fraley, a Realtor with Century 21 Nachman Realty and HRRA’s Commercial Alliance chairman, from 8:30 a.m. to noon March 23 at HRRA headquarters, 638 Independence Blvd., Suite 100, Chesapeake.

Students will learn about the broker’s role and different types of commercial properties, as well as valuation methods, terms, marketing and resources for further education. This is an ideal introductory course for newly licensed real estate professionals and residential agents interested in expanding their impact within the industry.
