Following are this week’s nominees for the Duke Automotive-Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

In their 3-1 home victory over the Beach Breakers on Wednesday, she scored all of her team’s goals. In a 2-2 tie with visiting Northampton High School on Thursday, she once again found the back of the net for her team, providing one of its goals.
  • Kay’Lee Justice, senior for King’s Fork High School softball: She helped the Lady Bulldogs go 2-0 this past week against key Southeastern District rivals. In Wednesday’s 9-7 home win over Western Branch High School, she was the winning pitcher and went 3-for-4, hitting her team’s first home run of the year and generating two RBIs. She was also the winning pitcher in Thursday’s 5-4 win at Great Bridge High School.
  • Regan Lynn, freshman for Suffolk Christian Academy softball: She was effective both in the circle and at the plate during the Lady Knights’ 13-1 home-opening win on Thursday against Norfolk Collegiate School.
