‘Sweet Truth’ weight loss seminar set

Bon Secours for Women has announced the return of its annual The Sweet Truth seminar, a candid conversation on metabolism and weight loss.

Presented by the nutrition and weight loss experts from Bon Secours, the three-day seminar series will provide women with the latest information and newest tools for successful and wholesome weight loss and healthy lifestyle management.

“Through education, Bon Secours aims to bring understanding and clarity on important health issues to our community,” said Michael K. Kerner, CEO of Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System.

The Sweet Truth seminar is a discussion on the right trends to support the right methods for success, tailored for all women, regardless where they are in their nutrition and weight loss journeys.

The seminar will teach participants how to lose those mystery pounds and get back into an active lifestyle, while focusing on nutrition education, exercise programs, personalized diets, patient testimonials, healthy lifestyle screenings and information on surgical and nonsurgical options.

The first of the three seminar days will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hilton Garden Inn, 5921 Harbour View Blvd. in North Suffolk.

The second seminar will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Holiday Inn Virginia Beach-Norfolk, 5655 Greenwich Road in Virginia Beach. The third will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. April 18 at Mary Immaculate Hospital Health Resource Center, 1 Bernardine Drive in Newport News.
