The TownePlace Suites Suffolk Chesapeake recently finished renovating its lobby, front desk, guest suites, fitness center and breakfast area.

The TownePlace Suites, located at 8050 Harbour View Blvd., has 72 guest suites, according to General Manager Tracy Kummers.

“It is a pleasure to welcome guests … into our hotel,” Kummers said. “We are receiving overwhelmingly positive comments about our new look.”

The TownePlace Suites is designed for people visiting the area for extended periods of time, Kummers said. The hotel’s suites include separate sleeping and living areas, built-in storage and workspace, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen televisions and fully equipped kitchens.

The hotel also offers a complimentary hot breakfast and has a swimming pool, Kummers said. It has a pet-friendly policy.
