Joe Johann has been promoted to senior vice president at TowneBank. He is an information security officer at the bank’s Suffolk headquarters.

Johann has been with TowneBank for two years and has 35 years of industry experience. He received a bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University and a master’s from East Carolina University. He has also obtained a number of industry certifications from the ISACA, among other associations.

Johann volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, YMCA Youth Sports and I-9 Youth Sports.
