Player of the Week Nominees

Following are this week’s nominees for the Duke Automotive-Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

Amesha Miller, senior, King’s Fork High School girls’ basketball: Miller scored in double figures helping Kings Fork to a 2-1 week in three regional games, including wins of Grafton and Midlothian. She also had 30 points in a loss in the regional championship against Monacan.

Kaylah Brown, junior, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ basketball: Brown scored 18 and 16 points, respectively, for the Lady Saints in wins over Norfolk Academy and Cape Henry, helping her team to a TCIS conference championship.
