Bulldogs fall to Truckers

King’s Fork High School’s baseball team fell to Conference 17 opponent Churchland High School on the road Monday.
The Bulldogs and Truckers battled it out in a close matchup, but Churchland took the win. Through the first five innings, the Truckers had a 2-0 lead before the Bulldogs rattled off two runs in the sixth inning.
The game came down to the final play, in which the Truckers won the game off a single in the bottom of the 10th inning.
King’s Fork had a solid pitching day, striking out 10 batters. Caleb Pittman and Ricky McCleod both shared pitching duties.
King’s Fork will play Lake Taylor High School on Monday.
