King’s Fork High School’s softball team had one player make the 4A All-State team.

The Lady Bulldogs completed their season this year with an elimination in the semifinals of the 4A East regional tournament. King’s Fork dropped a close 2-1 game to Powhatan High School. During that game, Madison Froemel went 3-3 and had the team’s only run.

Her performance, as well as her solid season, earned her the spot on the 4A first team All-State team. During her junior season, Froemel made the all-conference, all-region and all-state teams.
