The annual meeting of Community Electric Cooperative members will be held Aug. 15 at Georgie D. Tyler Middle School in Windsor.

Voter and door-prize registration will begin at 6:15 p.m., followed by the business meeting at 7 p.m. Director elections will take place, and a report of cooperative activities will be provided by President and Chief Executive Officer Steven A. Harmon.

There will be door prizes, exhibits, refreshments, entertainment and a Kids’ Corner for ages 10 and under. Musical entertainment and fun will be provided by The Opry Boys Quartet, which has entertained at the member’s annual meeting in the past.

In addition, Community Electric Cooperative will hand out “Members Rock” community rocks to all members as a way of showing appreciation. All members are encouraged to take a picture of their rock and post to Facebook and then hide it in the community for another member to find.

One lucky member will be able to redeem their rock to win two white rocking chairs provided by Cracker Barrel.

Exhibits of products and services offered to Cooperative members will be displayed, and staff members will be available to answer questions.
