Cover 3 Foundation recently announced that Nov. 28 marked a major milestone for the nonprofit organization.

On that date, the foundation had officially served 2.5 million healthy meals and snacks to Virginia children since its start in 2010.

“We are truly fortunate to do what we do here at Cover 3 Foundation,” founder Greg Scott stated in a press release.

Through the Foundation’s C3’s Kids Meals Program, nutritious and healthy meals and snacks are served to children participating in after-school programs across the South Hampton Roads and Central Virginia regions.

With defeating childhood hunger being a major purpose of Cover 3 Foundation, Scott stated, “It is extremely gratifying to know that 2.5 million meals have been served through our mission. I’m completely ecstatic.”
