Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Keimari Artis, sophomore, Lakeland High School basketball: Artis scored 20 points and grabbed five rebounds in a Lakeland win over Great Bridge High School.
• Nasir Davis, senior, King’s Fork High School track and field: Davis placed first in his heat in the 55-meter dash with 6.53 at the Suffolk Invitational.
• V.J. Wilkins, senior, Nansemond River High School basketball: Wilkins scored a career-high 26 points in the Warriors’ matchup with Great Bridge High School.
