Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Clint Wright Jr., sophomore, Lakeland High School basketball: Wright scored a game-high 29 points in the Cavs’ matchup with Indian River.
• James Hatton, senior, King’s Fork High School basketball: Hatton scored a game-high 25 points in the Bulldogs’ win over the Warriors.
• Allen Zachary, junior, Nansemond River High School swimming: Zachary took regional championships in the 200 freestyle and the 50 freestyle.
• Nic Psimas, junior, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy swimming: Psimas took first and second in the 100 freestyle and the 50 freestyle at the Division Championship meet.
