Floyd throws KF to shut out

The Bulldogs baseball team defeated Grassfield 5-0 behind the arm of senior Noah Floyd.

Floyd pitched seven innings and allowed only two hits for the whole game while striking out nine. Things didn’t really pick up for either team until the fourth inning, when King’s Fork put three runs up on the board.

Adam Briggs went 2-3 with two runs, two RBIs and a double for the Bulldogs. Floyd also collected two runs for the game.

King’s Fork will face Oscar Smith High School on the road at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
