In a meeting that lasted just two minutes, the Suffolk School Board adopted its financial plan for fiscal year 2019-2020 Thursday.

Its budget, at $173.3 million, is unchanged from what the board previously approved March 19. It includes $153 million in the operating fund, $11.7 million in the grant fund and $8.6 million in the food services fund.

The local allocation of $60.8 million is a $1 million increase from the current year’s budget.
