Police investigate theft of cars from dealership

Suffolk Police are investigating a breaking and entering incident at a local car dealership that happened overnight on Monday or Tuesday.

Police said the crime at Dennis’ Auto Sales in the 2900 block of Bridge Road happened sometime overnight March 9 or in the early morning hours of March 10. Preliminary investigation found unknown subjects broke a window at the dealership, stole keys to several vehicles and used them to drive away with five vehicles from the lot.

Two of the vehicles were recovered by police officers a short distance away.

Those still missing include a silver, 2010 Nissan four-door sedan; a gold, 2008 BMW four-door sedan; and a silver, 2007 Lexus four-door sedan.

The investigation remains ongoing.
