Terry Elliott, 14, (pictured) Andrew Simonsen, 16, and Dan Larry Winstead, all students in Wayne Spencer’s Warrior Club tae kwon do class at the Suffolk YMCA, qualified for national competition last weekend at the Woodbridge YMCA. Elliott won gold in sparring and forms, Simonsen gold in sparring, gold and silver in forms and silver in black belt, and Winstead gold and bronze in sparring and silver in forms. National competition will be held on July 5-9 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
