Lakeland’s Jeff Edwards got into a high jump contest during his team’s 3-1 loss to Great Bridge. Justin Schleeper had the only goal for Lakeland, whose girls also lost (final score unreported). Nansemond River’s girls fell 7-1 to Hickory, with Gabby Ferraioli scored for the Lady Warriors. The boys team lost 6-0.
