NSA quiets Lady Bulldogs

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ volleyball team visited Norfolk Academy and left with a 3-0 victory on Tuesday evening: 25-9, 25-10, 25-16.

Lady Saints senior outside hitter Kaylor Nash followed Monday’s match, in which she hit her 1000th career kill, with another strong performance, producing 10 kills, 13 digs and seven aces against the Lady Bulldogs.

Greenbrier Christian Academy transfer student and junior outside hitter Kaitlin Werner had 10 kills, three aces and two blocks for NSA. Junior middle blocker Caylin Harris contributed nine kills and two blocks, while junior setter Brooks Gillerlain had 31 assists.

Nansemond-Suffolk (7-2, 0-0) played on the road Wednesday night against Salem High School.
