The Lakeland High School girls’ basketball team was upended 76-43 on Saturday by visiting Nansemond River High School.

Lady Warriors sophomore center Sabree Clegg led all scorers with 19 points, and senior forward Logan Reid led Lakeland with 16 points.

On Tuesday, Nansemond River hosted Phoebus High School while Lakeland hosted Denbigh High School.
