Suffolk Parks & Recreation will host its Annual March of Dimes Bass Fishing Tournament from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 7.

Participants will meet at 6:15 a.m. at the Butler Tract Boat Ramp at Lone Star Lakes Park. They will then have 11 lakes from which to choose.

Ages 10 and older are welcome to join but must be accompanied by an adult. A fishing license is required for those ages 16 and older, and there is a three-person maximum per boat.

Tournament guidelines are simple: largemouth bass only, a 12-inch length minimum and a five-fish maximum.

Registration is $25. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the March of Dimes of South Hampton Roads. For more information about the tournament, or to register, call 255-4032.
