Susan D. Boone, 52, of 5405 Madison Avenue in Newport News, died July 14, 2005 at her residence. She was a native of Suffolk.

She was the daughter of the late Pernell Boone, Sr. and Rosa Lee Williams Boone. She was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and attended Virginia State University. She was formerly employed with Household Finance.

Her survivors include a daughter, Quatika Williams of Newport News; a son, Keon Boone of Suffolk; two sisters, Robin Barnes of Hampton and Sharleen Boone of Queens, N.Y.; five brothers, Danny Williams of Chesapeake, Tony Williams of Suffolk, Cavvin Barnes of Atlanta, Ga., and Michael Barnes and Darnell Barnes, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a grandchild, Nia T. Williams and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at Crocker Funeral Home Chapel by Bishop Madison Copeland. Interment will be at Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will assemble at noon Wednesday at 2525 East Washington Street, Apt. 1409-P. The wake will be held from 7 to 8 tonight at Crocker Funeral Home.
